Alcohol and Drug Education for college students
As a new student to campus this semester, we want to make sure you are prepared for a successful academic year and connected to the resources available to you as a Murray State student. Our mandatory alcohol and other drug education programs will provide you with personal feedback and important information about bystander intervention, health considerations, campus resources, and more.
**** Both programs are required. Therefore, any student who does not complete both programs AND submit verification by the deadline above will have a registration hold placed on their account which will prevent you from registering for classes until these programs are completed.****
IMPORTANT: Save the User ID that you are assigned when you begin the program. This is the only way you will be able to access your account should you need to in the future. Murray State does not have access to these numbers.
IMPORTANT: In order to have the hold removed from your academic record, you must submit the online verification form in the eCheckup system. On the last tab you must click on the below icon, enter your name and M#, and hit submit in order for your hold to be removed.

Please note that all survey responses are strictly confidential; Murray State will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will NEVER see any individual student's answers.
In addition to this mandatory program, our Student Life Alcohol Policy has been updated as of July 1, 2017. The policy includes details about resources, health risk, sanctions, fines, and other important information. You will find a link to this policy on the Student Affairs Alcohol and Other Drug Information webpage.
